Just Opened: Georgetown Cupcake Debuts on Robertson

You’ve seen the television show. Maybe you’ve even tasted the cupcakes. Now’s your chance to stop dreaming about the deliciousness that is Georgetown Cupcakes and scoop up the real thing. Go ahead — do a little happy cupcake dance. We won’t tell.

This past Saturday Georgetown Cupcakes opened its doors to Tinseltown’s cupcake-loving mamas. Their LaLa Land outpost, located on Robertson (it’s right next to Cedars-Sinai), boasts the same clean design that customers have come to expect of the popular cupcakery — think white marble countertops, impeccably decorated cupcakes, stacked pink boxes, and an open-glassed kitchen.

Just like their other East Coast locations, this store will offer over 100 different varieties of cupcakes, 18 of which will be available to purchase and munch on at any given time. Flavors range from traditional chocolate and vanilla to more wow-worthy creations like chocolate mint crunch, white chocolate raspberry, and holiday lava fudge (click here for the full menu). Cupcakes will set you back $2.75 for one cupcake, $15 for a half dozen, and $29 for a dozen.

We all know that despite your good intentions that diet you swore you’d abide by won’t realllllly kick in until January. So go ahead, indulge yourself with a visit to Georgetown Cupcakes. There’s nothing like fluffy, frosting-covered goodness to make you forget the stress of the holidays.
