One of America’s most iconic toy car brands is celebrating the big 5-0—and in honor of turning half a century old, you’ll be able to buy Hot Wheels U.S. Postage Stamps. Yep, so send an actual letter (and forget about email for a while) and dress it up with one of the cool car designs.
Hot Wheels is about to join other major brands, characters and celebs that have graced the postage stamp. Other additions to the Forever stamp family include John Lennon, Scooby-Doo, Sally Ride, Mister Rogers, Disney Villains (yes, villains), Star Trek, Harvey Milk and The Snowy Day.

The Hot Wheels Forever stamp will make its grand debut on Sep. 29 during a dedication ceremony in Fort Worth, Texas at the Goodguys 26th Summit Racing Lone Star Nationals. Each pane of 20 stamps will feature 10 Hot Wheels cars, photographed by Len Rizzi. The stamp designs all include one car each racing on the pint-sized signature orange plastic track.
If you don’t happen to live near Fort Worth, or don’t have time to travel there, you can still watch the Hot Wheels dedication ceremony. The U.S. Postal Service will stream the ceremony live on its Facebook page.
